Who says you should wait until January 1 to start making life changes? Any changes? Enjoy and live your life, and if you have goals, make them monthly. Keeping them especially ‘realistic’ also helps. A lot.
It’s January—the month when most people are making resolutions, setting goals, or even simply hitting their personal reset button. Sometimes, though, life flows most easily when we actually follow our innermost, most passionate dreams.
This particular month, I will make a point to “just do it” rather than waste my time ruminating about what I need to do. Thinking about what I need to get done is not only anxiety provoking, it’s also a waste of time.
Who says you have to wait until January 1 to turn over a new leaf? Each day is new, and reinventing yourself now—or setting and acting upon resolutions early—can take the pressure off the ‘New Year,’ and perhaps even allow you to sit back and enjoy the holidays.
